About Me

Hi! I'm Elizabeth, a passionate and experienced tutor with a strong background in STEM education and a love for learning across disciplines. I grew up in the Kansas City metro area and earned my Bachelor of Science in Biological Systems Engineering from Kansas State University, graduating with honors. I'm currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania, where my research focuses on orthopedic biomechanics and regenerative medicine.

Throughout high school, I took and excelled in a wide range of AP courses, including AP US History, AP European History, AP Language and Composition, AP Literature, AP Psychology, AP Physics, AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Environmental Science, AP Government, AP Biology, and AP Computer Science Principles. I’m comfortable tutoring all of these subjects, and I also offer ACT prep, helping students feel confident and prepared for test day. While my specialties are in math and science, I also enjoy working with students on history, literature, and writing. My goal is to make challenging material approachable and engaging, and to help students build the confidence they need to succeed.
